First day of class, done! :) It was nice getting to relax this morning, even though I did get up around 9 and worked on my online class. I'm thinking that class will be a breeze. PTL!!! Lunch with Christine was awesome! I loved getting to tell her about my break and sharing all that I have learned. I'm so blessed to have such a good Christian role model in my life, yet also a good friend. I have very mixed feelings about tomorrow. I'm excited about the new classes and getting used to a routine, especially my health class in the afternoon because I will know people! Then again, I'm also nervous as always. Yesterday, however, a good friend told me that God will never give me anything I can't handle. If that's not a confidence booster, I don't know what is!
Lauren Snyder is in my Pols class with me! I'm so so SO excited to have a study buddy for that class! :D I felt like a big nerd this afternoon. After going to pick up the Microsoft Office I bought, Sarah and I went to check our PO boxes (I didn't have anything..). Then I came back in my room and took pols notes..haha. Well, I just want to get back in the swing of things asap. Part of the nervousness I am feeling is because I don't have a routine down, so I'm anxious for that to happen.
BREAKAWAY is tonight! WHOO HOO!! I absolutely cannot wait! That's something I have definitely missed. Impact Counselor applications came out today. I've prayed about it, and I think the Lord wants me to be a counselor. I really miss being in a leadership position, does that sound prideful? I just know my personality and I know leading is one of my qualities. I thought about being a Doulos leader, but I think that might be more time consuming than doing Impact. My friend Tiffany and I are going to the informational on Thursday night, so maybe after more prayer and consideration, the Lord will give me a solid answer. Another reason I am anxious to get a routine is to determine how heavy my load will be.
Oh man, I'm so proud of myself for updating this! Hopefully after this week, the updating won't stop.
