Temple!!

Sadly, I have no picture proof of my trip up to Temple, but I had tons of fun! It was a short trip, but I'm glad I went. Driving is just so stressful these days. I came home and found that I had been sweating a TON and I even had the AC on! I got stuck in the midst of an army convoy traveling on Highway 53. Okay, so that's exaggeration...there were two hummers and I was too chicken to pass them! Quite bothersome, but oh well. It took a whole tank of gas to get up there and back. However, it was well worth it. :) The Aggie Women rocked against Tech in basketball last night and won 67-56. It was a pretty intense game, but we are No. 3 in the nation so what do you expect?!?! Being in College Station and not having to go back to my dorm or worry about class the next day was weird. I also got to see the crashed helicopter close up. There were national guard guys standing around it with guns...slightly intense.

It's nice being home, besides the fact that over the next two days, I really need to start packing everything up. I know Sunday has the possibility of being a hard day, but only if I make it hard. As long as I don't think about it, I think I can survive. I have some good friends up there now, and a strong support system at home, of course. I just need to get used to being on my own again. Not looking forward to my tiny bed, or dorm food...yuck! Most importantly, I'm taking my God with me, so whom shall I fear???
