Another week of my college career has begun. I've been feeling somewhat optimistic about it. I don't have that much work to do, as weird as that is. I read for Pols today and started studying for my Bio lab quiz on Thursday. Then I worked on my written homework due Wednesday for math. Only one more problem left on that. I could do some suggested homework, but I'm saving that for tomorrow when I would normally work on math. Later, my productivity for the day will increase when I go to the SCC and get some questions answered and work on my navigation stuff for my online class. I'll also be printing some stuff there, like always. Then I also will turn my Impact application in! Yes, I decided I am applying to be a counselor. I finished the app this weekend. I just can't decide if I want to go to the SCC when I'm done updating, or later tonight. Grrrrrr. I think I'm going to wait because I might get Sarah or Courtney to come with me. I just hate doing things by myself, even though I do things by myself all the time.
Okay, now onto the real subject of this blog: this past weekend! It was really fun! Spent most of my time with Sarah, Katlyn, and Katlyn's roommate Paige. Friday afternoon we went to the Rec and played badminton, which was extremely intense. My right arm is still a little sore! That night, we all went to see Revolutionary Road. I'm still really iffy about that movie. Overall, it was alright. The ending was not too pleasant. I teared up. On Saturday, after arising around 11, we went to eat brunch at Sbisa then went shopping and ran errands. I bought this super cute pullover fleece that has A&M on it. :) While in the mall, Paige decided to get her ears pierced, so that made everything very adventurous! If my mom didn't think it was so "tacky," I would have gotten two more holes on each side, but oh well. That night, we watched Miss America and Nanny Diaries. It was good girl time! Then Sunday was pretty much normal...went to church with Kevyn, came back and did the reading I needed to get done, etc. Sarah, Katlyn and I also went to Open House though, which was a good break.
I hate the fact that I hate Sundays. I know there shouldn't be a single day I hate, and it bugs me. I know I found them more enjoyable in high school because of 242, but in college, they just make me depressed! When Sunday comes around, I have to think of everything coming up the next week and for some reason it just makes me miss home a lot. Maybe this past Sunday was so bad because Courtney wasn't there, which didn't help things. OH well..I'll stop rambling. I'm going to eat with my cousin tonight, so that should be fun. Then, who knows what I will do after I get everything done! I guess I will take advantage of the chill time I have because it won't come around often!
